Michele has lived in Rockaway Township since 2006. Coming from Bergen County, she was intrigued by the natural beauty that Rockaway had to offer. She has a certification as a K-8 elementary teacher, a Bachelor's degree in studio art, a Masters degree in Educational Technology along with a certification as an Assistive Technology Specialist and STEM teacher. She has been teaching for over 20 years with most of her career spent as an elementary computer science and STEM teacher at a local elementary school in Morris County.
As her two children started school, she saw how dedicated the teachers and staff were to her children’s education. As an elementary teacher herself, she wanted to help in any way she could so she joined the Rockaway Township Education Foundation in 2019 and took the role as Vice President. Michele volunteers for the RT Racers track team. In her spare time, Michele loves to use her art degree to repurpose furniture, garden and spend time with her family and friends.
